Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Patient Account Representative. This entry-level position offers training in all job functions, with a primary focus on routing mail and processing paper claims. The ideal candidate will possess keen attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and demonstrate reliability in their work.

Responsibilities:

- Generate and analyze reports to identify and resolve routine errors and issues related to billing, claims, and payments.

- Assist in the preparation of routine reports as needed.

- Provide administrative support to daily operations within the assigned function(s).

- Perform daily billing, adjustment, and correspondence activities in compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors on various projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma required

- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications

- Working knowledge of insurance regulations, including commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care plans preferred

- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Positive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
