Job Title: Assoc. Manager, Operations Job Location: Camden, AR Job Code: 9122 Job Schedule: 4/10 (Monday - Thursday 10 hour days) Job Description: Aerojet Rocketdyne is a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to its space, missile defense, strategic, tactical missile and armaments customers throughout domestic and international markets. We are seeking an Assoc Manager, Operations to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas. This role will work with Camden Site Leadership and Program customers. Essential Functions Provides direction to subordinate supervisors/assemblers based on general policies and management guidelines. Plans and coordinates integrated schedules for personnel, material and facilities utilization. Provides assistance to subordinates in meeting schedules. Responsible for assigned department budgets. Interprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational groups. Coordinate work programs for shift operations. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and six (6) years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience in implementation of a manufacturing process improvement activity is desired. Additional Requirements: Demonstrated performance in factory operations including a thorough knowledge of scheduling, planning, forecasting, performance measurements. Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead effectively in a challenging team environment. Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization. Willingness to be available to supervise occasional overtime work as deemed necessary by company commitment to schedule. Willingness to assist in additional job duties as assigned by Management is vital.
