What You’ll Do:
We are currently seeking an SAP Analyst specializing in Materials Management and Production Planning to work with internal business organizations in the US and Canada to develop core functional tools as well as coordinate with our European supply chain management (SCM) team in Munich, Germany. This person will assist our factories and warehouses with key process points, including configuration, reporting, transaction processing, program development requirements and change management.
Specific job duties include:
  • Work on core projects related to materials management and production planning.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with SAP systems and tools.
  • Identify, fix, and train key business users as necessary on MM/PP topics.
  • Offer support to other SAP functional groups (SD, FI, WM, etc.) as requested.
  • Provide support of help tickets related to the SCM team.
  • Participate in weekly discussions with other SAP teams and organizations around the world.
What We Are Looking For:
A bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS, or an equivalent discipline plus a minimum of 5 years of SAP MM/PP experience are required. Candidates must have the following core skills within SAP: materials, bill of materials, source lists, purchasing, output processing, data migration, query reporting, enhancement technology, planning, production orders, routing, scheduling and confirmation, and shop floor activity.
Other qualifications include:
  • Experience with technical and development components of SAP.
  • Adept at troubleshooting issues and working with user security in SAP.
  • Strong knowledge of Variant Configuration (VC) and customizable products driven from sales order processing
  • Exposure to S/4 Hana is a plus.
Experience with other SAP modules (SD, FI, WM, LE, etc.) is a plus.
  • Understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills: proven ability to analyze data and make corrections and recommendations based on analysis.
  • Detail oriented: excellent ability to plan and organize so that work is completed efficiently. Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills: ability to collaborate, consult and share information with managers and colleagues within the global and regional matrix.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach to always seeking efficiencies; flexible and open to new ideas in a growing environment.
  • A desire to accomplish and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
