Director of Pharmacy in Lancaster, New Hampshire

Position Overview:
The Director of Pharmacy will oversee all pharmacy operations within assigned facilities, ensuring the delivery of outstanding pharmaceutical care and compliance with all regulatory, legal, and accreditation requirements. This strategic leader will not only manage day-to-day operations but also initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and service levels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement pharmacy operational policies and procedures that comply with regulatory standards.
• Oversee medication management, including formulary management, procurement, storage, and disposal.
• Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff to ensure high levels of competence, professionalism, and job satisfaction.
• Ensure the pharmacy provides optimal services; implements quality improvement practices.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the pharmacy department.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote integrated, patient-centered care.
• Stay abreast of advancements in pharmacy practice, technology, and legal regulations.

Shift:

• Monday Friday: 7:30 am 5:00 pm
• Rotating weekends 7:30 am -2:00 pm
• On call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• New Hampshire Pharmacist License
• Clinical pharmacist experience
• Inpatient experience
• 2 years of experience working as a Director of Pharmacy
• Meditech experience is preferred.
• Must be okay with living in a rural area.
