Facilities Specialist, Operations Center, Onalaska WI

Altra Federal Credit Union is on the hunt for a Full Time Facilities Specialist to join our team and keep our workplace running like a well-oiled machine! This position is located at our Operations Center in Onalaska WI, however, may also be needed at any of our branch locations and foreclosed homes in Altra's portfolio.

What's Required:

• Responsible for performing building maintenance tasks and minor building construction
• Knowledge of multiple maintenance fields (carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, HVAC.)
• Travel between branch locations (Onalaska, West Salem, La Crose, Winona, Rochester)
• A professional image that promotes Altra's brand principles and provides quality member service and staff support
• Working color vision and hearing
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and pushing up to a minimum 100 pounds and pulling of items weighing a minimum of 50 pounds
• Occasionally bending at the waist, kneeling, lying horizontally, climbing, walking and must be able to climb an extension or step ladder

About the Position:

Work is generally performed in an office environment with some outside work to maintain facilities. There may be exposure to heat and cold (snow removal), dust, noise level which may require ear plugs, heights, electricity, lubricating fluids, cleaning solvents/fluids, batteries, paints and solvents, water in retention and infiltration ponds.

Work hours are generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional earlier starts or later finishes. There will be times when the Facilities Specialist will be required to be on-call for after hours, weekend and holidays.

Qualified candidates will be required to have a high school diploma or GED/HSED, a two year degree OR trade school certificate OR have equivalent experience in building construction and have one (1) to three (3) years of experience. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. There will be times when the Facilities Specialist will be required to be on-call for after hours, weekend and holidays.

• Competitive wages based on experience starting at $20.91 - $23.00/per hour!
