We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work with a group of dedicated professionals with a passion for success. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our manufacturing facilities. You will also be instrumental in implementing preventative maintenance programs, ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment to reduce unplanned downtime and improve overall operational efficiency.
2. Oversee and coordinate the maintenance department's daily activities, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and effectively.
3. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with equipment, including conveyors, machines, and other industrial equipment.
4. Use AutoCAD to design and implement improvements to existing machinery and equipment.
5. Collaborate with other departments and managers to optimize production processes and improve overall plant efficiency.
6. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
7. Manage and oversee the fabrication of parts and equipment as needed.
8. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of new equipment and parts.
9. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues.
10. Train and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and practices.
4. Experience with fabrication processes and techniques.
5. Proficiency in using AutoCAD or similar software for designing and modifying equipment.
6. In-depth understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors and industrial machinery.
7. Experience in a foundry or similar heavy industrial environment is a plus.
8. Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
9. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
10. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
11. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement effective solutions.
