Job Description
A. KEY RESULTS:
Load product onto racks as needed or bring down pallets for shipments. Provide daily inventory and locations. Verify counts and products are correct on pallets. Avoid damage to product. Always follow FIFO when pulling product from the rack. Assist in pulling and loading trucks when needed. Place empty cans into racks and supply cans when required. Maintain a clean area at all times. Report all problems to the Supervisor immediately. Comply with Company Policies and Safety Procedures.
B. SPECIFIC TASKS: (Describe the tasks in as detailed steps as possible.)
1. Perform Reach Truck inspection at the beginning of each shift. Report problems to supervisor immediately.
2. Pull all pallets from assigned area and place them into rack.
3. Only full stretched wrapped pallets of ends shall be place into rack.
4. Check for damage wood pallets and have them changed out before placing them onto the rack.
5. When placing pieces the counts on the pallets should be accurate.
6. Use FIFO when removing pallets from the rack for orders.
7. Complete a daily inventory of all pallets in rack area by the end of each day.
8. Pull COSI product that are in rows to rack when rack has available space and a piece is needed.
9. Place all empty can pallets in assigned area as needed.
10. Provide empty cans for shipments as required during the day. At no time should a truck be without available cans /ends.
11. Place all pallets that will not scan to the side and notify supervisor immediately.
12. Pallets that are defective, on hold or tags do not add up are NOT to be placed into the rack at any time.(Notify Supervisor if any found)
13. If a pallet is dropped from any height for any reason it is to be reported immediately to the supervisor. All damage cans are to be reported and disposed of in the proper manner.
14. Do NOT move from standing area when a pallet could possibly fall.
15. Assist in shipping pulling orders, loading trucks or unloading trucks as needed.
16. Sign out drivers when required verifying that all product matches BOL.
17. Assist in handling, wrapping, and loading customer orders when required.
18. Follow all other directions given by Supervisor.
19. Must Follow Reach Truck Safety Rules at all times.
20. Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures.
