The Leonard General Laborer is key in contributing to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting outdoor buildings. Leonard buildings are known for their quality craftmanship, and Leonard Plant Employees are responsible for that recognition.

Required Job Skills:

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g., standing for long periods of time, moderate to heavy lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, reaching, climbing)
• Be able to read a tape measure
• Operate hand/power tools with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and grow with Leonard while following supervisor’s instructions to perform quality work
• Maintain a safe work environment
• A strong self-motivation to work on projects with minimal supervision
• A team player in a General Labor role
• Previous proven construction/carpentry/brazing skills of 1+ years
• Previous experience working with multiple materials including wood, metal, etc.
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials, techniques and methods of installation
• Machine Operating skills
• Brazing skills

Plant Employees are responsible for:

• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
• Cutting lumber, metal, and other material according to measurements
• Layout floorings and roofing ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Build window frames, door, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Inspect product along assembly lines and finished to ensure quality of work
• Maintain Supervisor assigned workload
