Job Summary:

The Mechanic will complete repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and inspections on mobile and plant equipment, in accordance with the maintenance plan, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

• General mechanical knowledge including pumps, hydraulics and electrical.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Basic intermediate computer skills
• Experience with work order execution.
• Has own basic tools.
• Experience with safety training.
• Facility repair experience.
• Keep up with training and process needs, requirements.
• Problem solve and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Communicates well and works in clean orderly manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime when needed.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade education in industrial mechanics (preferred)

Additional Requirements/Skills:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with light duty vehicle repair.
• Must have Preventative Maintenance experience.
• Possess own basic hand tools.
• Class C driver's license
• Experience with boiler/steam truck maintenance (preferred)
• Experience with vac truck maintenance (preferred)
