The Mobile Mechanic Supervisor role is based in Nazareth, PA and reports directly to the Senior Maintenance Supervisor.

What you’ll get to do

  • Plan and coordinate all repairs: preventive, weekly, major outages of mobile equipment
  • Ensure that safe work rules and practices are understood, implemented and consistently followed by the employees, subcontractors, and yourself
  • Contribute to the achievement of production, quality, environment, reliability and utilization targets
  • Cooperate with Purchasing Department and is responsible for technical evaluation offers for spare parts
  • Develop a condition based preventive maintenance culture on a day to day basis, finding solutions to reduce reactive maintenance (promotes cross functional Root Cause Analysis of incidents and drives implementation of solutions) as per HC maintenance approach documented in the HC Maintenance Handbook
  • Ensure strict compliance of maintenance operations with the Maintenance Model: follow-up inspection routes compliance, validate work requests (notifications) coming from field, ensure good level of planning for work orders, coordinate work orders scheduling with production and ensure good quality and safety of execution
  • Responsible for the fulfillment of contracts concluded with third party companies
  • Contribute to the achievement of production, quality, environment, reliability and utilization targets
  • Ensure adoption and adherence to standards, norms and best practices
  • Supervise union employees
  • Participate in the maintenance on-call program

Essential Experience and Skills

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ hand's on experience in industrial mobile equipment repairs
  • Experience in Fleet Maintenance
  • MSHA knowledge preferred
  • CAT equipment knowledge (990 Wheel Loader, 988 Wheel Loader, 75 Ton Haul truck)
  • Knowledge of SAP, OCR, KPI, CIP preferred
  • Risk assessment
  • Excellent communication skills for use both internally and externally

Work Environment

  • Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
