Controls Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Our client, in Mebane is seeking a Controls Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have automation, manufacturing and problem solving expeerience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Technician

Location: Mebane NC

Pay Range: $31-34

What’s the Job?

• Support manufacturing with respect to automated and semi-automated post-molding equipment. 
• Figures out the root cause of failure and problems with automation equipment.
• Interacts with molding setips & process engineering to solve component related issues & their effect on the automation process. 
• Support Automation Engineering with installation of improvements and new automation.
• Works with equipment vendors to solve automation problems and increase self-knowledge. 

What’s Needed?

• 3+ years of related automated equipment experience required.
• Must have a very broad electrical and mechanical background, including hands on experience with PLC's, robots, motion controls and associated programming software. 
• Read and modify electrical schematics.
• Experience with tracking and maintaining automation data.
