Terrain Cafe|Barista

Job Summary

Responsible for serving all products with friendly and individualized attention towards each customer. Uphold and improve upon all service standards of URBN Food & Beverage.

Essential Duties

* Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards

* Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products

* Continues to learn and educate themselves on whole bean knowledge, coffee blends, tea products, bakery items, coffee brewing, and blended products

* Provides top quality espresso shots for hot and cold beverages

* Educates our customers on the superior quality of Company products and services

* Maintains clean service areas

* Be ready and willing to assist fellow service staff members

* Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager

Qualifications

* Previous experience as a barista preferred

* Strong work ethic and excellent multi-tasking skills

* Personable and professional demeanor

* Ability to work in a standing position for longs periods of time (up to 8 hours)

* Ability to reach, bend and stoop
