Registered Dietitian 2 - Full-time

Sodexo is seeking a Fulltime Registered Dietitian for MontCare Wheaton, a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility located just north of DC in Wheaton, Maryland. This Dietitian will provide clinical care to about 90 residents in long-term care and short term rehab units.  

The successful candidate will:

 

• provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients;
• meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
• be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;
• represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or
• support the food service operation as needed.

• Registered Dietitian credentials and state licensure in Maryland;
• strong verbal and written communication skills;
• strong leadership skills;
• the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff; and/or

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
