ATL is seeking qualified Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager (experienced and entry-level) candidates for our Canton, New York office. Qualified candidates will work directly with experienced Senior Engineers. This position provides an opportunity to work in a diverse marketplace and offers a challenging and rewarding career.

Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager (experienced and entry-level) Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
  • Good communication, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Execute and manage multiple office and field tasks
  • Positive attitude with ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • PE, PG, EIT or IG license/certificate preferred

Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager (experienced and entry-level) Responsibilities:

  • Perform and lead field investigations, engineering analyses, calculations, and provide engineering recommendations
  • Develop proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, budgets and recommend changes
  • Prepare, review and evaluate laboratory or field reports
  • Interact with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and other team members to effectively complete projects while representing ATL
  • Provide technical support to drillers and field staff
  • Motivate and inspire team members to accomplish project goals
  • Maintain safety and quality standards on assigned projects
