Industrial Electrical Technician

We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to become an integral part of our team! This Electrician/Technician is charged with the assembly and installation of various electrical parts for the equipment we manufacture and performing proper service procedures on items including controls and wiring. This should be accomplished with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards and will lead to a management track position in this department.  When trained, candidate should be able to provide work direction, guidance, and training to other employees..

Scope: The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the full range of installation of electrical parts for proper operating procedures according to manufacturing standards, inspection of assembly, troubleshooting, and service. Candidate should be able to determine the correct actions needed to install or repair items.

Duties & Responsibilities: After training, this person should be able to properly install, evaluate or repair the following components to the standards of the Service Technicians of D&H Equipment:

1. Electrical Controls and Panels

2. Conduit, wiring, and connections

3. Burners with Fuel Lines (Diesel, Natural Gas, Propane)

4. Power Transmission Drives to Augers, Pumps, or other equipment

5. RTDs (in the proper location), manual temps, level devices, and differential switches

Skills: Read and understand the Bill of Materials, drawings, or schematics for electrical components and their positions on units. Interpret BOMs to fabricate controls, panels, and wiring. Must be able to read a tape measure and use hand tools.
