 Swiss CNC Machinist

A company in New London, MN is expanding and is seeking individuals to add to their team. If you have the skills in CNC machines and have operated a Swiss CNC machine, this is the job for you. A Swiss CNC machine—also known as a Swiss-type lathe or a Swiss automatic lathe—is a modern precision manufacturing machine that can produce extremely small parts quickly and accurately. 

Position Details:

  • Compensation: $30.00-$45.00 per hour (Based on experience)
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in CNC work.
  • Consistent employment for one year within the last two years.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to occasionally lift 10-20 pounds.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Skilled in programming and operating CNC machines, particularly Swiss CNC machines.
  • Physical capabilities include frequent standing, sitting, walking, and reaching with both hands and arms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints to maintain precise dimensions of machined parts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine operation issues independently.
  • Perform setups, including revisions for offsets, measuring, inspecting parts, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Program and operate Citizen Swiss CNC Machines.
