Sodexo has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Registered Dietitian to come to join their dynamic team and clinical nutrition program at UT Health East Texas, located in Tyler,Texas.
Position offers $2500 sign on bonus and $2500 retention bonus
Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!
Money toward continuing education events!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Registered Dietitian, licensed in Texas
- Have experience utilizing the nutrition care process, electronic medical records charting and will be responsible for conducting nutrition care and patient assessments for patients with a variety of ages and disease states
- Be able to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff and collaboratively as a part of a team, as well as independently and be outcome focused
- Have good time management skills, be a self-starter
- Engage in physician and multidisciplinary team rounding on patient care units;
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Patient Satisfaction projects;
- Demonstrate excellent communication, customer service and computer and time management skills;Thrive in a high energy and demanding environment and be flexible and able to adapt to a changing patient population

Qualifications & Requirements:Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
Credentials Requirement:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
- Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
