Operations Specialist I

What the day will look like

  • Handling of credit card processing, batching, copying and distributing of all credit cards and checks received daily.
  • Preparing mail, fax and other pertinent information for processing.
  • Monthly large broker audit reconciliation.
  • Enter electronically required policyholder information in AuMine such that policy activation can occur.
  • Enter electronically requested changes to policy in AuMine to produce policy change endorsement.
  • Apply electronically cash to risk screens during cash-with-app process.
  • Complete electronically policy forms in AuMine, final print policy or endorsement in AuMine, and email.
  • Complete electronically certificates of insurance as requested.
  • Serve as technical resource for Operations Coordinator in absence of Operations Specialist II.
  • Add and delete policy forms during the forms process on behalf of Policy Processors.
  • Contact help desks with system related problems.
  • Attend all training classes provided as instructed.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 2+ years of office work experience
  • Insurance industry work experience preferred
  • Exposure to accounting principals

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

The salary range for this position is $31,000-$32,500 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
