Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN is looking to hire an Associate ServiceNow Engineer in Eagan, MN. This individual will develop, support, and customize ServiceNow. The Associate ServiceNow Engineer will develop and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform using scripting tools such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. Furthermore, this individual will work within the enterprise to troubleshoot and provide solutions for ServiceNow.
An ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with ServiceNow and have knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HR, CSM, ServiceNow Mobile. A good understanding of Agile, ITIL and coding experience in JavaScript, Bootstrap and HTML is strongly preferred. The candidate must have or willing to obtain certifications in AWS and Azure within the first year.

A Day in the Life:
Code, support, develop, and maintainsoftware.
Work collaboratively on a daily scrum team with a scrum master, product owner, analysts, other developers, and testers to iteratively deliver functional code to production.
Work with business customers, analysts, and team members to understand requirements.
Learn new technologies, methods, and approaches from more senior team members.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
Leverage established coding design patterns and best practices.
This job mayinclude on-call duties.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HR, CSM, ServiceNow Mobile.
Good understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and other development and support processes and methodologies.
Prototype design and implementation.
Development experience using:
REST, SOAP, JSON and XML
Tools Experience:
ServiceNow, ServiceNow spokes and Flow Designer
Required Skills and Experiences:
2+ years' related experience (technology) or Bachelor's degree. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Creative thinking, strong communication skills, creativity, curiosity, self-motivated, time managements skills
Development experience using: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
Knowledge, experience, and familiarity with web services and APIs such as REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML, and ServiceNow Spokes and Flow Designer.
