Evansville Harley-Davidson is searching for Rider Academy Coach candidates for the 2024 Season and beyond. NOW is your chance to contribute to the riding community in one of the best ways possible: Coaching riders to develop safe riding habits. Once a training class has filled, there may not be any available dates until the following year.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON® RIDING ACADEMY:
THE LEGEND LIVES THROUGH YOU


Coaching classes can be as fun as taking the classes, as well as supplying a source of excellent extra income. Rates for instructors can vary somewhat due to experience, location and the types of course taught. Training is provided, as well as continuing education opportunities, many of which are paid for.

Currently, the courses taught in the state are for the MSF curriculum. More information on these courses may be found at

Riding Coach Responsibilities include
:

  • Introductions to students
  • Utilizing provided PowerPoints to conduct classroom activities
  • Utilizing provided materials to conduct classroom activities
  • Understanding the layout of the range
  • Conducting range exercises
  • Coaching students on how to improve skills
  • Evaluating students' skills 
  • Graduating students at the end of the class



Riding Coach Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of motorcycle riding experience
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Currently an active rider with a valid motorcycle endorsement. (Not a permit)
  • License has NOT been suspended for any reason within the past 2 years or within the past 5 years for DWI.
  • Must be able to put in three (3) full weekends to complete the training course?
  • Please upload your resume and complete the online assessment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
  • Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
