Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Shift: 5x8-Hour 08:00-17:00 OR 07:00-16:00

Location: Burns, OR 97720

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $1,776-$2,072/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Inpatient Rehabilitation to join our team. As an OT in our Critical Access facility, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, home health, and hospice. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical and functional abilities
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional independence
• Monitor and reassess patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including PTs, to coordinate comprehensive care
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques and home exercises
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain thorough records

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Occupational Therapy
• Knowledge and experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules
• Willingness to work independently as the sole OT on the floor
• COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with facility guidelines (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
