Schochet is currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager.


King Pine Apartments in a 234 multifamily apartment community located in Orange, MA.

Duties:

·         Assist with tenant move-ins, certifications/recertifications according to Local, State and Federal guidelines in a timely fashion. 

·         Process applicants.

·         Assist when needed with processing payables and receivables and follows through with delinquent accounts. Also assist on answering phones.

·         Monitors and produces property reports in Yardi.

·         Assist property manager with financials and yearly budget.

·         Promotes positive resident relations and responds to resident issues and complaints.

·         Provides assistance and back-up to the Property Manager in his/her duties.

·         Other duties as required.

 

The Assistant Property Manager must be able to assist in managing the property and supervising when the Property Manager is not available. 2+ years of Property Management experience that includes a knowledge of Section 8 housing and Tax credit. Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, strong financials, be a team player and proficient in Microsoft Office. Yardi experience a plus. Certified Occupancy Specialist or equivalent a plus.
