Senior Configuration Management Analyst

You will join our team in partnership with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 7.3 million New Yorkers through its Health Benefit Exchange.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • You'll join our talented Configuration Management Team.
  • You'll support the definition and implementation of required customization effort of Eracent Management Tool.
  • You'll monitor the Eracent tool's performance, troubleshoot issues and resolve problems
  • You'll provide capability enhancement and operational support.
  • You'll provide software asset life cycle management expertise.
  • You'll provide technical input for SW comparisons.
  • You'll support the Procurement and Licensing process for Software.
  • You'll inventory and track all SW in a centralized database.
  • You'll work with NYSoH Program Teams to define reporting from this database.
  • You'll provide oversight of maintenance of all SW, i.e., patching, bundling, adding/removing end user software usage, testing, distributing, and mitigating CVE and other vulnerabilities.
  • You'll assist in managing workflows for each SW request (current, new or updates)
  • You'll implement Testing and Quality Control procedures.
  • You'll identify, research, and resolve functionality issues
  • You'll perform software administration tasks, as necessary.
  • You'll support the definition/documentation of configuration management processes and procedures related to baseline definition and control
  • You'll support CM audits for both internal requirements and Client requests


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline, or equivalent


Required Experience:
  • Five (5) or more years of business experience in a technical IT position performing or supporting system/software engineering, development, testing and deployment.
  • Three years (3) or more of experience in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated professional skills interacting with various teams and support staff.
  • Skilled with MS Suite of Products for presentations, documents and reports.
  • Dedicated and self-motivated achiever committed to success.
  • Adept at handling multiple tasks in a high pressure environment to meet stringent demands.


Desired Experience:
  • Experience with cross-functional technical teams in defining, configuring, testing, and deploying software applications in a configuration management role.
  • Experience in software asset management processes and procedures.
  • Experience in Configuration Management best practices.

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
