The Planning & Calendar Specialist will report to the Director, Planning + Calendar and will be responsible for supporting the Planning + Calendar team in the development of the marketing annual strategic and tactical plan and helping to enable the brand experience strategy across end-to-end consumer journey and strategic marketing activities.

The Specialist, Planning + Calendar will help with the tactical execution of full-bar value programs in addition to working cross-functionally to help bring annual marketing plans to life, inclusive of helping to manage meeting cadences, team documents and routines to ensure the plans stay on track.

This role requires strong attention to detail, strong project management skills, and extreme comfort working in a cross functional setting.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Manager, Calendar + Planning and Director, Calendar + Planning in the development of annual marketing plans. 
  • Works cross-functionally to help drive the execution of the marketing calendar throughout the yea.r
  • Assists in developing and launching national promotions to drive overall brand value.
  • Supports Planning + Calendar team in developing, scheduling, and maintaining meeting routines to gain approvals on marketing plans.  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-year degree in marketing or business-related program is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience preferred in Marketing, cross-functional process management, Data Analytics, Research, or related field.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Ability to set goals, determine priorities, plan, organize, and follow through on assigned responsibilities. 
  • Excellent project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to make recommendations and decisions in a timely manner. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
