We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic EVS Director to lead our Environmental Services Department. This role requires a commitment to excellence, a passion for healthcare, and a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of hospital environmental services. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies that ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department, ensuring all areas of the hospital are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
3. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental services and infection control.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of environmental services with other hospital operations.
5. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
6. Manage the department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
7. Regularly assess the effectiveness of environmental services operations and implement improvements as needed.
8. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring all concerns and complaints are promptly addressed and resolved.
9. Stay updated on latest trends and advancements in the field of environmental services and incorporate best practices into department operations.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a director-level role in an Environmental Services Department within a healthcare setting.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing and improving environmental services operations in a hospital setting.
3. In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental services and infection control.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
5. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies and solutions.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the management of environmental services operations.
