Summary

JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for oncology patients following established standards and practices.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Administering chemotherapy, hydration, or other medications under the direction and supervision of a physician; assisting with exams, procedures as needed; Documenting nursing assessments, patient teaching, and fluid and medication administration in the patient's chart.

REQUIREMENTS:

ADN required, BSN preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse, Registered to practice in Maryland.
American Heart Association CPR Certification.
ONS certification in Chemo/Biotherapy strongly preferred.
OCN certification strongly preferred.
