$10,000 Sign On Bonus (payable per BTB sign on bonus payment terms)
Reporting Location: Livermore, CA
Compensation: Starting hourly pay is $39.00 / hour (based on experience) & shift premium pay (for 2nd and 3rd shifts)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Start time: 2 pm until workload completion

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and repairing fleet vehicles and equipment
- Programing and recording assigned preventative maintenance tasks
- Assisting in education of the Route Sales Representatives' pre and post-trip inspections
- Receiving and processing invoices for payment for multiple locations and dealing with vendors
- Maintaining parts inventory and budgets
- Ensuring safe work practices
- Oversee Fleet Technicians and provide direction as assigned
- Help schedule and support all work within the shop
- Coordinate training
- Manage costs according to budget and daily completion of repairs
- Ensure DOT compliance
- Program and record assigned preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain shop housekeeping standards and prepare end of month reporting and/or any other administrative requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance
- A heavy-duty vehicle maintenance certificate from an accredited vehicle maintenance vocational/trade school will be considered as two years of vehicle maintenance experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting to 60 pounds in all work conditions (indoor and outdoor)
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- The ability to obtain CDL B License (with airbrake endorsement) within specified period
- Ability to obtain ASE T4 (airbrake) certification within specified period
- Possess necessary tools to perform required tasks for the position
- The ability to work independently along with being part of a team
- Possess proficiency in computer programs, diagnostics, and maintenance
