Clean Harbors is hiring an Environmental Program Specialist. This role is responsible for tracking down information from the field that is requested by the client, generating reports for clients, implementing initial contracts, and daily interactions with Retail clients.

  • Implementation of new contracts including but not limited to: ensuring contract pricing is set up correctly, creating Customer and Ship to Gen sites correctly in Beacon, ensuring invoicing requirements are met, creating profiles and ensuring over all Retail client contract parameters are being met or abided by.
  • Conduct Contract Kick Off calls with appropriate Operations personnel to ensure Field understands the contract, process on site in the field and local office.
  • Run all reports required by customers via WIN WEB reports and other applications, make any required changes/updates via Excel, and provide the final document to customer within the required timeframe.
  • Reach out to operational teams to locate missing or late shipping documents (BOL's, Manifest, Worksheet) and ensure they get into the system promptly.
  • Answer incoming calls from Field to address onsite protocol, delays on site, and other Field-based issues for assigned clients.
  • Conduct client operations conference calls weekly and bi-weekly as needed by contract.
  • Act as Single Point of Contact for assigned accounts and as backup to fellow Retail Program team members when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain schedule dates for service and distribute to the field. Follow up to determine if any service dates are missed.
  • Support the Retail Program Manager in their absence and or with special projects and business needs as they arise.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel) 
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal; strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with people at different levels and customers 
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail 
  • Good time management skills
