A new opportunity for a Director of Nursing – SNF has just become available for a nursing leader in Southern California!
This reputable, acute-care hospital is looking to add a valued Skilled Nursing Facility Director of Nursing to their advanced healthcare team! This opening is with a 25+ patient bed, Critical Access Hospital in Southern California. This medical center has received a number of superior awards including a BETA Heart Award, a Client Excellence Award, and boasts superior patient satisfaction scores! This medical center offers services in the areas of adult care, geriatric care, pediatric care, women’s health, emergency services, orthopedic, podiatry, and more.
The Director of Nursing – SNF, will be leading a 21-bed unit specialized for long term care and is the only Skilled Nursing Facility in its surrounding area. This departments consists of an attentive, around the clock staff there to deliver the highest, personalized patient care. The Director of Nursing will manage 30 FTEs including CNAs, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This Director of Nursing Services will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be supported by unit coordinators and Charge Nurses.
An experienced Nursing Leader that has experience managing Skilled Nursing Facilities or in the Long-Term Care Environment with a California License, BSN, and can-do attitude will make for quick interviews! This Director of Skilled Nursing will be responsible for operations of the department including developing policies, ensuring compliance, coordination of patient care, and upholding the highest quality of nursing standards. This SNF Director will be expected to establish goals that are in line with the medical center’s overall vision and mission “to be the premier provider of emergency medical and healthcare services.”
