UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a 90% FTE (36 hours per week), night shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Intensive Care Units (ICU). We have four unique ICU units to best support our patient population:

Surgical ICU ~ This is a 14 bed unit. Patient population includes direct recovery for ICU surgical cases and liver transplants.

Medical ICU. This is a 24 bed unit. Patient population on this unit includes medical ICU cases and Bone Marrow Transplant.

CCU ICU ~ 5SE is a 21-bed cardiac ICU caring for patients with advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, complex PCI's, STEMI's and other critical post-cath lab patients, as well as pre- and post-heart transplant patients. Patients may have Impella and Balloon Pump devices and receive Hemodialysis.

Cardiothoracic ICU ~ This is a 24 bed unit. Patient population includes cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, vascular, heart and lung transplant, MCS, VV, ECLS, and TAVR.

SCHEDULE
3x12 shift schedule, night shift only (7:00pm - 7:30am).

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an RN, you will:

Work alongside physicians, intensivists, social workers, and care managers

Follow evidence-based nursing practices

Manage complex health issues

Monitor and administer medications and IVs

Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

BLS

1 year of current or recent ICU nursing experience

An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
