Team Lead - Commodity and Accounts Payable

Beef Northwest Feeders is hiring a Team Lead - Commodities and Accounts Payable at our Boardman Feedyard!This role is responsible for leading our administrative team by overseeing all commodity and trade payables, directing processes for all commodity receipts and usage, and managing inventory logistics in collaboration with operations managers for our five feedyards in the Columbia Basin. This position works directly with feedyard and finance management, trucking administration, commodity procurement staff and feedyard payable and commodity analysts. The ideal candidate has:5-10 years of supervisory experience.High attention to detail and organizationPrior accounting and/or administrative experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to lead, support and direct others.Must be self – motivated and driven to achieve results. Specific Job Functions:Hiring, training and management of commodity and payable analyst staff.Process verification of daily scale operations, scale ticket entry, daily load count, weekly commodity ordering and scheduling and weekly inventory reports.Facilitate creation, approval, distribution, and maintenance of all commodity contracts.  Facilitate the bi-monthly feed payable process, including lien verification.Facilitate the bi-monthly trade payable process, and monthly reconciliation of purchase cards.Facilitate ration changes, ration pricing and intercompany entries.Facilitate commodity inventory processes. Facilitate the monthly fuel inventory process.Facilitate accounts receivable processes including monthly grain, potatoes, and manure billing.Coordinate and manage all aspects of HMC harvest each fall.Ensure budget reporting and meeting follow-up processes are met.Ensure adherence and compliance with quality assurance standards including QA forms, dry matter reporting, sample submission and feedstuffs quality. Compensation Package:$60,000-$75,000 + up to 15% Annual Bonus (Dependent on Experience)Health, Dental, Vision insurance.
