Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes.
- Assess patients' conditions and create individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or hospital setting.
- Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with acute pain management protocols and standards.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
