What You'll Do
The Salesforce Systems Specialist will design, build and maintain solutions on NPT's instance of Salesforce Service Cloud to help NPT meet its mission of increasing philanthropy in society, joining a dynamic, high-performing Agile Scrum team. The Systems Specialist will assist with the administration, documentation and testing of NPT's ongoing implementation of data modeling, process automation, contact center operations and critical workflow management configured on Salesforce Service Cloud. This position will assist with requirements gathering for Salesforce related projects and implement changes as needed.
Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage and prioritize work across multiple projects following a two-week Agile Scrum process.
  • Perform Salesforce administrative functions including but not limited to user management, platform configuration, custom field, page layouts and record types.
  • Respond to and resolve support requests from end users in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborate with business teams and project management office to gather, understand and implement complex business requirements.
  • Collaborate with broader technology solutions team on platform integrations and custom features leveraging Salesforce.
  • Create and test Salesforce platform enhancements to be used by NPT staff.
  • Maintain and implement flows, approval processes and validation rules to further automate and encapsulate complex business processes.
  • Assist with data management needs including data modeling, data cleansing, mass updates and data import/exports to and from Salesforce.
  • Create, update and organize new Salesforce reports and dashboards as needed.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or business management information systems preferred, or equivalent experience/aptitude demonstrated.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Logical, process-oriented individual who is eager to learn.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on NPT's business and Salesforce functionality.
  • Ability to conceptualize new processes and interpret workflow diagrams to implement systematic workflows.
  • Adept at multi-tasking and work prioritization; thrives in an environment of rapid change.
  • Salesforce Certified Admin / Advanced Admin credentials preferred.
  • Self-driven, personable, willing to define and drive the direction of the role.
  • Ability to conduct basic troubleshooting and willingness to offer general assistance when needed.
Nice to haves:
  • Prior experience administering a data integrity program using OwnBackup Secure or a similar managed package.
  • Previous experience building lightning web components, using tools like Skuid and Gearset, and Apex development.
  • Prior experience administering Salesforce Shield and general data governance and integrity program participation.
  • Platform Developer certification, coding boot camp and/or technical development projects are a plus.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
