Builder/Superintendent

Loudermilk Homes is searching for a Builder/Superintendent who is a self-starter eager to learn and always looking for ways to improve to support two to three custom high-end, luxury, new-construction residential home builds in and around the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau area in Western North Carolina.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• +3 years track record in Custom/Luxury Home Building.
• OSHA 30

Job Description:

• Manage daily construction activities and maintain project schedules for 2-3 homes at a time.
• Enforce job site safety by ensuring all trade contractors comply with OSHA regulations.
• Motivate subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the quality and performance required to meet company standards.
• In dealing with customers, display an awareness of construction details to ensure delivery of homes that exceed customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with subcontractors and inspectors.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with local building inspectors and other municipality personnel.
• Inspect all homes under construction daily for quality and ensure they are being built per the plans and specifications.
• Update Schedule, To-Dos, Daily Logs, Bids, Photos, and Timesheets, utilizing internal-based Software daily.
• Communicate with management on ways to cut building costs and reduce cycle time.
• Project closeout & completion, including and responsibility for ensuring the completion of punch list items.
• Ensure job site cleanliness and present a positive representation of the company.
