Job Description
Assists and monitors all prisoners who are held for any length of time in the holding facility of the Police Station. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation. Must be able to adhere to the policies and procedures of the police department and complete duties as directed. CPR and first aid trained or have the ability to become trained. Once trained must have familiarization with the facility. Knowledge of suicide prevention. Must be available to attend a minimum of sixteen (16) hours of annual training. Ability to handle prisoners and perform searches under the guidance and supervision of police personnel. Ability to work alone and handle numerous situations calmly, promptly and efficiently. Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information. (up to 16 hours per week) $18.00 hourly, no benefits
