Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting a fellowship trained, BC/BE general non-invasive Cardiologist to join our growing practice in Brenham, Texas. We offer a collegial environment which provides an exceptional opportunity to provide top notch patient care. Academic appointments through the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and/or Baylor College of Medicine may also be available.

• Solo cardiologist position supported by our College Station team of one Non-Invasive, three Interventional, and one EP Cardiologists along with APP support.
• Coverage includes one hospital located in Brenham, a short walk from the cardiology clinic
• Level II Echocardiography, stress test, holters
• Opportunities to grow/expand the practice are available.

Baylor Scott & White Health is an integrated system with one EMR (EPIC) and access to all specialties under one umbrella. Our state-of-the-art facilities offer a variety of medical and surgical specialties for men, women and children.

The demand for cardiac services in the Brenham area is strong, and a large primary care referral base supports continued cardiology growth. You can expect your practice to be quickly established with the existing patient base and referral of physicians in the largest non-profit, health care system in Texas.

Brenham is a 25-bed acute-care critical access hospital with a Level IV Trauma Center and thriving Emergency Dep. The medical center is fully accredited by The Join Commission and has also achieved the American Nurses Credentialing Center Pathway to Excellence Designation. The facility offers a wide network of medical and surgical services, as well as a Support Level III Stroke Facility. A specialty care clinic operates adjacent to the hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Doctorate Degree in Medicine

- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board by start date

- Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
