Job Description:

The Associate Financial Analyst assists in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, vendor invoice audit, and re-evaluating merchant statements. Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and formulas, to analyze and manipulate large datasets efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data from various sources.
• Perform data reconciliation and audit vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contracts.
• Managing variance analysis comparing actual financial results against budgeted or forecasted figures.
• Prepare and present financial analyses and reports to management.
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Provide insights into the reasons behind any discrepancies.
• Participate in the development and improvement of financial processes and procedures.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
• Conducts reviews and audits and updating spreadsheets with the latest available data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a related role.
• Must be fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a strong emphasis on advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulas.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting is a plus.
• Experience with financial software or tools (e.g., ERP systems) is an advantage.
