Overview:

Bocook Engineering, Inc is currently seeking a civil engineer, with 1-5 years’ experience, to join our civil and surveying department in Paintsville, Kentucky. Successful applicant to work on a variety of projects for clients within the private, as well as local, State, and Federal sectors. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, commercial, and industrial site development.

Responsibilities include:

• Site/civil development including grading design, water and sewer infrastructure design, roadway design.

• Storm water management system design, erosion, and sediment control design

• Survey development including all aspects of boundary, topographic plan preparation.

• Working with given projects to develop detailed design documents and construction plans.

• Write specification, provide quantities, and cost estimates.

 

Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Experience with AutoCad or Microstation.

• Experience with a Civil Engineering design software such as AutoCad Civil.

• Desired, experience with Hydrologic method software such as SedCad, HEC-RAS

• Desired, experience with pipeline design software.
