Responsibilities
- Completes corrective and preventive work orders as assigned.
- Performs minor electrical repairs, installation and maintenance.
- Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Responds to emergency situations during and after hours.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of electrical systems, fire alarms, and network wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to operate motor vehicles and power tools safely and effectively .
- Ability to understand specifications, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings for installation, maintenance and repair of structures and equipment is preferred.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Completion of a vocational or technical program in low voltage systems preferred.
