About this job
**Location:** Amarillo, TX * Perform pre and post trip inspections on company vehicles as required and ensure their safe operation. All issues must be reported as required
* Fuel tractor
* Pick up & deliver freight in a timely & safe manner
* Inspect & count freight to determine any overage, shortage, or damages
* Collect freight charges, including COD's
* Establish and maintain contact with supervisors, coworkers and customers
* Ensure compliance with all DOT Safety Regulations
* Maintain a professional image and a positive attitude with customers & coworkers at all time
* Perform all other duties necessary to maintain job safety and comply with the regulatory requirements for operating a commercial motor vehicle
* Must meet D.O.T physical requirements
* Must be able to perform various physical activities to include frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing and overhead work
* Must be physically capable to operate all applicable company equipment safely
