PrideStaff, a staffing firm in Central Oregon is seeking an Office Manager for a local employer who will oversee the overall operations of the business and personnel to ensure business profitability, and excellent quality service, and identify and implement improvements for business growth.
Responsibilities:
Office Management
- Creating a positive team environment
- Lead day-to-day operations
- Oversee operations to ensure profitability
- Establish consistent systems and policies and continue to improve them
- Maintain office equipment
- Troubleshoot customer/vendor issues
Sales and Marketing Support
- Manage co-op program
- Create a marketing budget and track expenses
- Oversee general maintenance of the showroom gallery
- Answer phones
- Manage execution of marketing campaigns, proofs, etc.
- Maintain referral program for customers and business affiliates
Human Resources
- Maintain employee files and documents according to state laws
- Maintain and update Employee Handbook
- Administer 401K program
- Lead part of a collective effort in maintaining employee training
Financial Management/Bookkeeping
- Prepare annual budget
- Enter bills into Quickbooks
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivables
- Manage credit card accounts
- Manage cash flow/ lines of credit
- Manage insurance policies and bonds
- Management and administration of payroll (including taxes, PTO, etc.)
- Support in annual tax planning with bookkeeper and owner
What You'll Need
- Experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with an ability to handle administrative functions including electronic file management and vendor administration accounts.
- Bookkeeping experience. Knowledge or experience with Quickbooks is preferred but not required.
- Previous Human Resources or management experience is a plus
- Motivated self-starter Detail Oriented
- Ability to anticipate and address challenges in advance
- Ability to maintain optimism
- Customer and solution-focused mindset
- Possess excellent time management skills
- Maintains an ethical standard
