We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Field Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a plumber with a proven track record of excellence in both plumbing craftsmanship and team leadership. The Plumbing Field Manager is made for someone who can not only work in the field, but also plays a crucial role in overseeing and supporting our plumbing technicians in the field, ensuring the successful completion of projects and maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:

• Field Supervision and Plumbing Work: Lead and supervise a team of plumbing technicians in the field while actively participating in plumbing work. Undertake hands-on plumbing tasks alongside the team, demonstrating expertise and setting a high standard for craftsmanship.
• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance to plumbing technicians. Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and actively participate in solving problems to ensure successful project completion.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards for all plumbing work performed by the team. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute plumbing projects. Monitor project timelines and budgets, actively contributing to the hands-on execution of tasks to ensure successful and cost-effective completion.
• Training and Development: Train new plumbing technicians and provide ongoing professional development opportunities. Conduct regular skill assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement training programs accordingly.
• Client Interaction: Interface with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with plumbing services. Act as a point of contact for escalated customer issues, resolving conflicts in a professional and efficient manner.
• Inventory Management: In conjunction with the warehouse manager, oversee and manage plumbing materials and equipment inventory. Ensure that the team has the necessary resources to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety protocols. Implement and enforce safety measures to protect team members and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a plumber with at least 10 years of field experience
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
