MEDICAL ASSISTANT

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant with exceptional customer service skills and clinical skills. These skills will be used daily while rooming patients, assisting our providers in everyday clinic. Whether that be assisting in surgical procedures, biopsies, and routine skin checks, as well as cosmetic procedures.

Daily Tasks Include:

• Using EMA EHR system, detailed and accurate charting during each patient visit
• Assessing patient's intake forms, and documenting pertinent medical history
• Assisting providers with surgical procedures, cosmetic services, medication management, and wound care
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff- always using all safety precautions appropriately
• Prep exam rooms in anticipation of providers needs
• Communicating with other doctors office, pharmacies, and patients
• Educating patients on pre and post procedure instructions, diagnoses, medication usage, and treatment plans

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for Dermatology procedures
• Adequate technology skills (charting on IPads)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Capable of multi-tasking throughout a fast-paced day
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to work effectively as a team member with providers and other staff members
