**Description**

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The responsibility of the Parts Sales Manager is to develop heavy duty trailer parts quotes, work with an established dealer network to grow the aftermarket trailer parts sales, process parts orders, manage accounts, answer customer calls ensuring high level of customer satisfaction, and help with technical assistance. This position oversees the Commercial Parts Sales and the sales team - which is in charge of shipping all RGAs back to vendors along with warranty shipments to customers and Military Parts Sales.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**

* Ability to work with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing to ensure the correct products are specd at the right price.

* Able to complete pricing models in a timely manner.

* Accept POs and coordinate delivery with manufacturing and customer.

* Maximize quoted margin.

* Educate, motivate and evaluate dealer network when needed.

* Continually enhance relationships with direct account customers.

* Expand the current customer base for the parts sales department.

* Focus on improving customer satisfaction.

* Talk with vendors and update pricing as required

* Ability to set strategic plan for 30 to 90 days

* Must be able to keep organized, stay on track and manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities

* Safety, quality oriented, attention to detail and a strong team player

* Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills

* Other duties as assigned.

**SKILL REQUIREMENTS:**

* Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.

* Experience running an MRP system, preferably JD Edwards.

* Knowledge of Kalyn Siebert heavy-duty trailer parts and components highly preferred.

* Ability to receive both written and verbal assignments.

* Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.

* Effective communicator.

* Strong team player.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

* High School Diploma, GED or similar experience.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* 3-5 years of sales experience preferred

* Management experience preferred

* Strong attention to detail.

* Strong computer skills to include expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.

* Knowledge of Distributor network, Regional Manager Assignments, and channel to market.

* Strong knowledge of Kalyn Siebert products, their application and pricing policies highly preferred.

* Ability to do various tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.

* Strong time management skills.

* Ability to work independently and function in a high pressure, multi-functional team while maintaining composure and professionalism.

* Ability to bring quick resolution to customer issues by working across multiple functions and departments.

* Knowledge of Federal and State weight laws Proficient in using the Configurator part number / ordering system as required.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

* Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as eye, hearing, and foot protection.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

* Sit or Stand as needed.

* Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.

* Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
