Clinical Nutrition Manager 2 - Full-time

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager 2 (Registered Dietitian) to join our management team at The Masonic Care Community in Utica, NY. The Masonic Care Community provides a wide range of exceptional services to people throughout the Utica area and beyond. Their mission is to support, nurture, and educate those whose lives they touch by providing them with the care and services they deserve, with compassion and pride. 

 

The CNM will oversee 3 Registered Dietitians.  They will manage a caseload of up to 48 residents in long-term care, and will complete nutrition consults for an 80-bed adult home.

The ideal candidate will:

• serve in a leadership role for the clinical nutrition team on campus including 2 fulltime RDs and 1 part-time RD;
• be responsible for managing and developing the clinical nutrition policies and procedures;
• provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients;
• provide nutritional care to residents of Assisted Living upon consult or request;
• oversee menus for an adult home and child care center in accordance with DOH/state/federal and company standards;
• be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences and clinical meetings;
• represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or
• support the food service operation as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 1 year

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
