Recruiter for Skilled Trades
Express Employment Professionals of Covina is seeking an energetic, outgoing, customer service oriented individual to join the team as a Recruiter Specialist. The current team is very energetic and fun to work with on a daily!
Location: Covina, CA (this is NOT a remote position)
Hours: M-F 8-5
Pay: $23+
Position Summary:
The Recruiters primary emphasis is on managing and recruiting new talent to fill open job orders. Recruiters are expected to build and maintain a strong core of associates with a variety of job skills and be able to quickly and efficiently identify these associates for possible matches with our client’s needs: we have great tools to assist with this process!
Strong phone and interpersonal skills are essential, good customer service is a must.

• Interview Applicants
o Screen and interview associate applications for matches to open jobs
• Increase office and team effectiveness through daily communication
o Work closely with all office team members to ensure there is a strong pipeline of associates to fill job orders
o Understand open positions so you can effectively screen applicants and refer them to the internal Employment Specialists for placement
• Perform other related duties as necessary and assigned
o Assist at front desk with application process
o Assist in answering incoming calls
o Compose routine correspondence and reports
o Develop and maintain professional knowledge of the market, staffing industry, and pertinent labor laws
o Adhere to the Express system
o Maintain a thorough knowledge of the staffing and placement services offered by Express

• Bilingual Spanish is a must
