Position Summary

* Channel Management - Develop and implement Indirect Sales Channel Growth Strategy to ensure scalable and profitable growth to meet Division goals. Organize, Motivate and Manage the PPF Indirect Channel partners primarily consisting of independent Representatives and Distributors. Maintain and update Channel agreements including account lists and key projects ($50k+) in the indirect channel on the Parker CRM.

* Relationship Development - Travel to develop relationships with Channel Partner Leadership, Key Customers or Key Projects in Indirect Sales channel. Support key customers and key projects by traveling with Indirect partners. Coordinate travel for yourself and Applications Engineers with Distributors as needed for technically challenging accounts with significant revenue potential.

* Training & New Product Introduction - Identify areas of training needed to achieve growth goals and collaborate with Application Engineering on development and delivery of training. Lead new product introductions and new product sales achievement into sales channels of responsibility with collaboration with Product Management and Marketing teams.

* Expertise & Knowledge - Develop knowledge of the designated sales channels partners, markets and applications.

* Channel Support - Collaborate and coordinate closely with the Division functional teams to resolve escalated issues that require support. Develop and implement Parker tools and support infrastructure to pro-actively drive channel improvements to deliver excellent customer service while deploying resources responsibly.

* Division Evolution - Research and document product gaps, new products, technologies, trends in existing markets and recommend potential new markets which may assist in Division market share growth.

Qualifications

  • Domestic travel (25%-50%) within the domestic US for face-to-face meetings with channel partners and key customers and to support Division initiatives (i.e. Tradeshows).
  • Experience in channel management, business development, sales, product management, marketing, and training.
  • Undergraduate Degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering/technical. MBA preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills; Fluency in English.
  • Understanding of pneumatics, fluidics, and long, complex OEM design process is preferred.
  • Proven team leader with motivational, diplomacy and personality skills to the highest degree.
  • Must reside in US near major airport and maintain and work from home office when not traveling. Prefer a location close to our manufacturing plants (Southern New Hampshire, Charlotte, North Carolina or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania / Delaware).
