Senior Planner

Our client is looking for an outgoing individual who will Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies between departments. This is an analytical position that requires a strong understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP), order management and inventory control.

Minimum Requirements

• Reviews forecast, backlog and related information to determine material requirements using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to identify required materials.
• Performs transactions and tasks as directed by Supervisor.
• Attends and supports actions from team meetings.
• Maintains logs and statuses.
• Reviews Bill of Material and item master records to ensure consistency to corporate policy.
• Interprets MRP messages creating purchase requisitions as needed.
• Supports can build analyses and develops work around plans.
• Troubleshoots plan constraints and strategize corrections.
• Supports new initiatives of policy and process.
• Coordinates priorities with other disciplines
• Perform yearly physical inventory for all assigned programs.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as Engineering drawings, computer reports, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Qualifications/ Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, seven to ten years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range - $80,000 - $95,000
