Land Surveying Field Helper - Level I - Entry level

We are seeking a Land Surveying Field Helper - Level I - Entry Level to become part of our team! You will demonstrate excellent listening skills and following instructions; and the drive to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Load up company survey truck with equipment and supplies as required for different survey tasks
• Assure all batteries and survey equipment are fully charged on a daily basis
• Assist Survey Crew Chief with taking measurements with surveying equipment
• Understand Crew Chief's specific needs through instruction and retaining training
• Learn the trade through good note taking and asking questions
• Be punctual and dependable to working schedule
• Must be able to work overtime

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with surveying company preferred, but not necessary
• Ability to carry heavy equipment and work outdoors with varying weather
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Must have valid Driver’s License and be an insurable driver
• Ability to submit and pass extensive security background check for badging purposes
