CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch)/RMS System Manager - On-Site Position in Chesterfield, VA

Join iSphere, an IT consulting company in Houston, as a CAD/RMS System Manager at the Chesterfield County Public Safety Facility in Chesterfield, VA. This is a high-security area governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy." We are seeking a candidate who lives within commuting distance of Chesterfield, VA.

As the CAD/RMS System Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored technical customer operations support. You will develop strategies for implementing operational efficiencies by reviewing workflows, procedures, and performance. This position requires executing customer operations policies and procedures, building and maintaining positive working alliances with customers, and initiating problem-solving actions to resolution. Additionally, you will perform root-case analysis of problems to recommend improved alternative operations and lead process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of IT or public safety experience
- 3+ years of Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, and System Maintenance experience (public safety system experience preferred)
- 3+ years of Public Safety Applications experience involving CAD/RMS/Mobile and other emergency 911 center equipment greatly preferred
- Proven track record working with or deploying enterprise hardware and software solutions; Client preferred
- Experience creating positive working relationships with customers and application end users
- Able to function effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment that regularly requires multitasking
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (MCSA/MCSE skills)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ODBC, and Ops Manager (SCOM)
- Experience with Public Safety Applications, including CAD, Mobile, and RMS
- Ability to troubleshoot application system issues, including hardware, network, and third-party components

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- PremierOne CAD and/or RMS Experience

This position requires a background clearance as required by the government customer. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required, and employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
